Royal purple says friction modifier is already added. So gonna give it a go and see what happens

Haha yea no problem. And I use Royal Purple for mine, but i added a friction modifier anyway

if you add any modifier only do about half of the bottle. sometimes the additive in the lube isn't enough for the LS but adding the whole bottle can make it too thick so start of with 1/4-1/2 of the bottle

the front diff IIRC has a longer changing period because its only put through stress in 4x4 mode. the fluid in the front is different you use 75w-90. I believe there is a drain plug for the front though but you probably still have to take off the seal for cleaning.

thanks will be doing this within the next couple of weeks, bought a Mag hytec cover and will be replacing the cover at the sametime.
