Default Hose connected where?

I assume this end is supposed to be connected to something, has a red band on the end. Does anyone know where it might go?

Default Don't see it on my 2004

I have a 2004 5.4. Unless I'm missing something, I don't see that hose on my truck. Here are some pics of mine if it helps.

All I can think is they run a new hose to the brake booster and left the old one in place? I checked the end of the hose it is not sucking or blowing air and does nothing to the idle when I block it. Not throwing any codes

You also have the one you drew a box around in my picture.

What's puzzling to me is that the one that does nowhere on your truck is the one that seems to match the one that goes to the brake booster on my truck (see the end by the valve cover where it attaches to a metal pipe).

thanks island trucks for the pics btw, was big help, i think its a none issue as i seem to have one too many hoses. the brake booster is working and the truck runs fine, i won't worry much about it.
