When I pull the latch inside my truck the good doesn't pop up like it should, instead I have to pull the latch while someone pulls up on the hood. Anyone know how to fix the simple problem ?

 

Anyone know why this is or have a fix? I'm having the same problem.

 

Spray some PB blaster or WD40 to free the latch up, then spray with white lithium grease to keep lubricated. When sprayed the PB move the latch and pull the handle to make sure you get it in all areas. Works every time.

 

The cable could have stretched and is not allowing the latch to release completely or the the latch could dry or gummed up and need some lube. Try lubing the latch
