How hard is it and are there any tips for removing the Chrome Surround on my Honeycomb Grille? 06 Lariat...

 

I removed the painted surround on my 2005 STX. Not difficult; just use patience. Remove the entire assembly, then using a pair of needlenose plyers, bend the flat "locking tab" to the left on each snap to allow you to push the snap back. The locking tabs will bend, just do it slowly.

I removed the "bar" style grill to install a honeycomb.
