When I start my truck up, the idle will usually pop up to around 1500 for 10-30 seconds, then down to 1000 for a few minutes then the normal 500-600 once it gets hot. When it starts it is loud, almost like its sucking too much air or something. I had all the tensioner pulleys replaced a few months ago and it did not have this problem once that repair was completed, but it came back within a few weeks. Any ideas? Is it bad? I am thinking about going from a CAI back to stock as everything I read indicated they don't do much on these trucks. Any suggestions or comments?

Im having the same problem. Mine jumps to 2000 then slowly goes down.
