Default HIDs

If you buy the bulbs, can you just plug them in place of your stock bulbs? Or is the kit required. I've read abou plug and play HIDs, but not exactly sure what that means.

they are sold as a kit, the bulbs need to be interfaced with a set of Ballasts. No way around it.

plug and play simply means the ballast will plug right into the stock wiring harness without having to cut or splice any wires. all HID kits need a ballast box for each bulb
