The fogs are a whole seperate kit... different bulb size and all.

I have to disagree with you 04F150j... Like I said before, I'm all about saving money, BUT especially with HIDs- you get what you pay for . I paid $167 for mine on www.retro-solutions.com

They came with a lifetime warranty as well, and I've never had an issue as of date.

I have the 8000k- Ice Blue as they call it. It has a slight tint of blue, and is STILL twice as bright as the stock halogen bulbs. It's all about personal preference, but after 8000k is where you will have 'visible light' problems...

I agree with you. You do get what you pay for.. but sometimes you OVERPAY. Does Retro give you SLIM ballasts? Or those 2004 thick, brick ballasts? myhids.com gives you the latest 5th generation kits.. I seen some retro kits and they are atleast 3rd or 4th generation and they are the thick box, brick like ballasts.

I've heard horror stories from retro as well as satisfied customers. At the end, of course, it's up to you!

myhids.com has a huge customer base on the tundra sites tundrageeks.com and gulfcoasttundras.com.

On Retro, you can get either or... I chose the 'regular' balasts- about an inch thick at the most. I don't mind them, because I don't see them lol.

Every sites have their 'horror stories'... fortunately for me, I got the 'great' service lol

Yea.. $167 for regular ballasts is overpriced. But hey, as long as you are happy and the product works for you.. then all is good!

Not by my opinion, but by industry standard, actually.

You'd be AMAZED how much an HID kit REALLY costs. Specially a regular ballast kit...... You would actually be VERY mad you paid that price.

The fogs are 9140 or 9145 series- you can use either/or... and yes, you can get them on the same website.
