shouldnt matter on the HID kit, unless the hook up to the ballast would be different. check out www.ddmtuning.com

here is a direct link to the harness http://www.ddmtuning.com/index.php?p...d=133&parent=0

Can those of you with HID kits that are having these troubles post the vendor, bulb size, and application (fogs, single heads, bi-xenon)? So others know where not to buy their HID's from.

that connection looks like a 9005/9006. the 9008 plug is oval with 3 wires in it.

My kit came with an extra harness. It had 2 simple metal plugs, however they were too large to plug directly into the factory harness. So, i took my heavy duty Husky Scisors and made it a little thinner. Plugged it directly into the low bean and the negative of the original harness........voila....HID's.

I got these from Dabears2k.com. I believe them to be DDM kits, but kits in the past I have purchased were Apexcone. I have purchased all of my HID's from them as they offer a lifetime warranty on all parts to inlude burnt out bulbs. Not bad for the $65 I spent. After messaging him he did let me know that Ford F150's had this issue with the harness and required a $15 harness.

Alright, SWEET! I was thinking about doing that ,but I didn't want to do that if it was going to mess up the set! I'm going to have to try that out.

Also, I bought my HID's from the HIDFactory.com the customer service was good and my fogs were plug and play, but I'm just having trouble with these stupid H13's because their to big, but thanks for all the help!
