Default HID Headlight Opinions Please

I just ordered a 55W 8000K HID DDM kit for my truck. But after a little research (a little late I know) I've found people on here say that 55W can be hard on the system? Any truth to that? I want the bright white look, maybe with just a hint of blue but mostly white. I've also heard people say the once you get 6000K and above there is a lot of blue in the coloring. Just wondering if I need to change my order before they ship the kit out. Thanks!

Going with 55w's will be just fine as long as you use the relay, this lets the HID's draw power right from the battery vs the headlight wiring.

8000k will be a lot more blue then white

6000k will have a hint of blue in them

5000k will be almost pure white

If you buy the wiring harness you will be fine using the 55w. The color depends on which bulb (watts) you chose
The 8000k 55w is more white than blue
The 6000k 35w is already getting into blue

You can look at it here, scroll almost to the bottom of the page theirs a graph

I use 35w 6000k. 8000k is too blue for me.
