Default HID conversion head lights

Hey guys, does anyone have any experience with the HID headlights with Halo rings that are available on ebay for like 135 bucks? In the pictures they look really good as far as quality but i know some of you will say you dont like the look of it, but i am wondering if anyone knows anything about them as far as quality, are they a straight up switch or do you have to add anything to run the HID? Please let me know!

Any housings you find that claim to be "HID" are just using that as a marketing tool. Absolutely NO aftermarket manufacturers have prefab housings specifically designed for HID. They are Halogen projectors, you just put HID bulbs in them.

I doctored these baby's up myself with HID's........

(I want to note and stress that out of the box you simply won't find them.... you got to put the time in to really put in a nice projector into any fleabay or...well any headlight for the F150....everything else will have you spending a ton of $$$ and giong back to your OEM halogens....)

Benz projector... and these were re-sealed CORRECTLY by myself as even in their stock ebay form they steamed up and had vapor collect inside the first drive in the rain.....

I put in digital balasts, relays, etc from DIODE DYNAMICS....Paul over there is by far the best I've worked with and even does friday discounts half the time on his facebook page.. (free ship, relay kit upgrade free etc)

extremely happy and it lights it up like a runway......

Note..shown is also with the Bambi mod and the hi/lo jumpered multifunction switch.....

HID's only....(center 2 are halogen Sylvania Silverstars... outside are actual 4300K HID's w/ digital balasts)

What I started out with.....
(note there terrible out of the box with their stock form... I could see more with the foglights on then I could with the driving and brights on combined...)
