You know, I wonder.....
I've got an old Dodge Dakota sitting out in the driveway.....I wonder if one could scuff it up with a DA sander and do the whole truck?
That'd probably look stupid though.....

I saw a truck a month or so ago that was completely srayed with some type of bedliner, it was interesting to say the least, especially the bright yellow color.
