No it wont work from any switch, anyway how would i test to see if this is the problem?

disconnect the electrical harness going to the motor, run two wires from the motor to a battery (drill battery works), the window should roll down.. if it doesn't, you need a new motor or regulator, if it does, you need a new switch

Or fuse, or wiring circuit fix, or BCM, could possibly be a break in the wire where the door opens that black rubber hose by the front fender running into the door, common spot for breakage
