Help what is this?

It was in my transmission pan when I took it off to change my fluid and filter.

its junk just throw it away... it has something to do with the filler tube and is dropped into trany pan during assembly at the factory....

that is what it is, When Ford puts the trans together they put that in the tube to keep the trans clean inside, the dipstick pushes it in!!!
