Default Help with weird noise

Hi

This morning i notice a weird noise coming from my truck, it sound like grinding but is a high pinch noise, like when brake pads are bad, something like that.

The noise have happens 2 times today, the first one was this morning and it was kind of quiet noise, i even think that was a car next to me when we were braking, but then i notice it was me, and this afternoon but this time it was louder.

It only sound when i take my foot of gas pedal, when i accelerate it goes away, but the noise completely go away after a mile or so.

A little help with this. Thanks

Well I can't hear it but from what you've said it sounds like maybe a rock is in one of your brake calibers or your brake pads are getting low and it's time to change them.

yeah possibly a rock.. you could try slamming the brakes hard a couple times to get it out..

i'd just pull the wheels off and take a peek.

even better.. take the wheels off, and spin the tires with it on jackstands..

The sound is not coming from the brakes, i'll take a look anyway, but is not relate with brakes, it don't sound when i accelerate and start as soon as i take my foot of the pedal, no matter if i press brake pedal.

My mechanic haven't check it, but he told it might be the U-joint.
