I have an 05 xlt that has a sticker on a bracket above rear tire that looks like a bracket that connects the bed to the frame.The sticker reads 50044
then uner that reads 12-18-07.I purchased it rom the original owner and he never said anything about any repair work.So I hoping thats not the case.

Its very posible that repairs were done. You have a computter and internet you should have acces to car fax.Bubbabud

 

As a consumer it sounds like you may have failed to do your own due diligence prior to purchasing the truck. The previous owner may have bought it with repair done.

 

Found out the brackets are aftermarket for gooseneck to 5th wheel
