Default Help: Shifter gets "stuck" in park

hey guys,
for the past month or two my 07 does not want to come out of "Park".. I have larger tires on my truck and i think they might be related to the problem. If i lunge back and forth alot and get the tires to roll a half inch it engages with no problem. Also have 93 K miles and never had a trasmission job done. Planning on getting it done but if that doesnt help i want to know what needs to be done so i can do it while its in the shop. My brothers Lincoln Aviator had the same shifting problem and the other day he went to get the mail and it got locked in reverse. Dont want that happening to me. Any ideas/ tips are appreciated

Try setting your parking break before putting it in park for a day or two. That is if you have a working parking break.
