Default Help! Scraping Sound???

We are driving home pulling an RV and all of a sudden there is a scraping sound whenever the accelerator is pushed. It only happens when it's in gear. It almost sounds like something is stuck and scraping. Sounds like it's coming from the front end. Any ideas? We are not losing any power and the truck is running fine - except the awful noise.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Put truck in high 4 and scraping noise goes away. Replaced IWE solenoid then test drove was making a loud sucking noise. next replaced check valve and loud sucking noise is still there. When in high 4 noise goes away.

Ok I disconnected both lines from the IWE and plugged the hose going to the intake and no more noise. I am now thinking actuator?

It is your actuator. Make sure to replace the right side. You can check to see if it holds vacuum by testing it right off the hose that connects to the actuator . It is not hard to fix. Your take the brakes off And then undo the upper ball joint and tie rod end. Then wiggle the front axel out and undo three bolts. I replaced mine and did the wrong side. So don't throw parts out until you Are for sure it is fixed

I don't have a picture but it is a silver collar the it the most outer part of your hub area. It has three bolts and it wraps completely around the axel. Plus there is a rubber black hose the plugs in with one smaller hole and one bigger hole
