I drive a 2004 f150 2wd 4.6L and I have a question about the wrench that comes on the dash near the gas gauge Why does it come on? And what does it mean?
Second. The reason I ask about the wrench is because I was driving yesterday and my truck died after making a left turn and it came on and seemed to have a real loss of power when trying to give it gas? I got home and let it sit a while. The wrench light turned off and it is driving like normal. Is this something I should be worried about or what should Ido about this. Thanks

 

You should take your truck to a auto parts store and get them to scan your computer to see if its throwing codes.

 

The codes recovered from your ECM will aid you in fixing your problem...
