The "governor" is built into the computer. A tuner is the only way.. Here is my 4.6 sorry about the quality the speed plus the cameraphone = bad pic.

 

The tuner is worth it especially if ur going to lift it. It'll let you recalibrate for larger tires and different gears. Plus if u have to take it to the stealership for something u have to put the stock program back on or their computer won't work.
