Default Help needed with P128a cht issue

Howdy. I've done some searching but I'm having trouble with a P128A code that keeps coming. I've replaced the cylinder head temp sensor and thermostat. When monitoring the engine temp it reads out between 197 and 203 degrees... and then it posts the code and read out says the engine temp is 230 degrees but another read out for flyer fuel system stays reads "loop open insufficient engine temp"

Couple more bits of info... I did replace the CHT sensor connection wires and the truck has about 125,000 miles on it.

Also I'm running a 5.4 liter engine. 2wd

My questions are...
can this be a product of a bad wiring connection to the cht?

How can test to see if it's a faulty PCM.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

-thanks
