I just bought a 2007 F150 and it has this box under the dash which I'm assuming is a command start unit. All there is is a sticker on the box and it has nothing else on it to identify it. Does anyone know if it is a factory unit or if it is aftermarket? If it is factory does anyone know which remote I need to buy for it?

 

What kind off keys you have ?with the hood and all the door are closed push the accessories bottom twice on your remote let's see what happen.

 

The key fob that came with it is the standard one that only has lock, unlock, and panic.

 

That looks to be an aftermarket alarm with possibly a remote start. Maybe it stopped working or the previous owner lost the remote. A good stereo shop should be able to tell you if it is functioning and get you a new remote.

 

I just found out that it is a "Ultra Start 1560"
