My girlfriend is gonna get me a leveling kit for my 06 2wd. I dont trust myself enough to try and install it and I dont wanna pay what Ford or 4x4 shops are charging. Anyone near the Atlanta GA area that knows what they are doing willing to help for some cash?

 

It's really pretty simple. There are several Youtube videos showing how it's done too. You do need one pretty big socket to remove the lower strut mount. Other then that, only basic tools needed.

 

As Rick's 06 said it is very easy. Took me about 2 hours to install and have my truck back on the road. If she hasn't bought it for you yet I'd recommend a hell bent steel kit. They're a great quality part and the included instructions (with pictures) are top notch. It takes basic tools to do it besides needing a 27mm wrench and a 30mm deep well socket to remove the strut because that's not something you usually carry in your tool box. But hey best of luck and make sure to post some before and after pictures!
