I like that idea and at a minimal cost. I can also grease the slip joint while I am there to make sure that is done.

FYI...the recording was from a dead stop to about 10-12mph.

Good call on the U-Joints. When the drive shaft was in the vehicle, it would not budge not matter how hard I tried to move it. When I took it out, the flange yoke just flopped around and some of the pins fell out of one side along with a lot of rust. I also found that I need to replace the pinion seal as a decent amount of gear oil came out when I pulled the yoke off.

This should surely fix it but I will report back for sure.

I just realized that I did not confirm the fix. The U-Joints were indeed the problem and there has not been another issue with that since.
