Default Help I have a small problem.

I'm new here. I have posted about my minor problem but no one responded. I've read Bogeyman's entire storie. So fn heartbreaking! I wanted that to be a victory for him. What a stalwart! Corporate is just that. Heartbreaking. So here I go... how do I get advice here?

Usually two things cause this. Way too long of a post and not clear what the specific question is. The other is too little information and not specific.

What was your original question?

Howdy, I have a 2006 FX4. When I switch the ventilation blower to the foot setting it will gush out on the passenger side but barely trickle out on the driver side. It doesn't seem to affect the othe vents, just the one down by the feet. Does this seem normal? Any insight is much appreciated. Thanks

Is the air only cold? Usually a blend door issue. Lots of utube videos out there.

If you're getting hot air when you have it set that way, there might be an obstruction in the system. Maybe foam from a vent or blend door.

The air just doesn't come out on the driver side floor vent. Gushes out on the passenger side. It's cold here now so I've only been using the heat. Would it make a difference from cold air to hot?

Has the vehicle ever had the heater core replaced or more specifically, the dash out? Sounds like something in there is disconnected or didn’t get hooked back up right. There’s a foam piece that’s known to come off inside the duct system and cause problems too.

I don't think the heater core has been replaced. Don't know if the dash has ever been removed. How do you get to the foam piece? By the way thanx for the input. Much appreciated.
