ok i promise i have searched everywhere and cant find what im looking for. a couple of days ago someone stole my passenger side mirror, but just the mirror and backing plate, not the entire mirror housing. does anyone have any idea where i can find the backing plate for the mirror to go on. ive found the mirrors only on ebay but can not seem to find the backing plate.

 

i seriously doubt you find just the backing plate, hit the junk yard thats your best bet

 

you can't buy just that the cover part, best bet is buy a used one off ebay, steal the cap and resell the rest.

 

We're on the same boat, but mine, both sides are stolen....gezzz.... I really hope to find a pair....

 

You guys looking for power mirrors, or the manual ones? Both can be had on the used parts section of this forum from time to time. I have an ad for a set of manual mirrors. If it's power ones your looking for, check the parts for sale here often, or head over to ebay, select motors, then type in Ford F150 200x mirrors (x=your year, although 2004 to 2008 all fit each other) in the parts & accessories section, then search. You'll find sets for sale there too.

 

i am looking for a electric one, i had tried looking around and only could find those with the entire mirror, was just wondering if someone knew if there was somewhere to buy just the mirror and backing plate instead of getting the whole thing.
