Default Help deciding what to do with exhaust???

So im having a problem. I have an 05' STX 4x4 with a set of custom dual exhaust. The tips come out the back at 45 degrees because of my hitch receiver. The problem I am having is that the tips are chrome now and since I live in Indiana the lovely winter weather is destroying the chrome. My truck is black so I was thinking about painting the tips black with high temp paint. What do you all think about this?

Hey, if you are near Lafayette, Beck muffler has some black stainless tips that are very nice looking, might be an option for you.

I guess I should have put stainless instead of chrome.....cause they are not "chrome." I just wondered if you think the black will look ok with the truck?

i think that black tips would look good on your truck regardless of whether or not you go factory, blacked out, or chrome
