Default Help with Daytime Running Lights

My 2004 Larait had daytime running lights. They stopped working today while I was towing my camper. I took a look at the fuses but none show to be blown. Normally when I have the lights on auto I can pull the **** and my fof lamps work but they no longer work either. When I put the lights on manual everything works fine. I called my dealer and they say my truck doesnt have daytime lights but they have worked for over a year if the engine is running the lights were burning as long as the switch was set to auto.

Thanks

do you mean your lamps came on when the truck sensed it was getting dark or are you from canada and your truck came stock with DRL? which is mandatory to have up there, FYI.

the sun sensor on the top of the dash, blinks red at night, may be faulty if your truck is american..just an idea

there is a 2 relays for it and a resistor. it was an option. the relays are in the auxilary relay box(4x4 and a/c clutch are also in there). the resistor/control unit is right beside the drivers side headlight.
