Alright I have a friend that is going to be checking out a 05 fx4 tomorow. I have drove it and while shifting at high rpms, it seems to make a strange noise like a squealing noise sorta. Any idea what this may be. And what other things should be looked at. It has around 138,000 miles. I did not notice at tick or knock while the truck was running when I drove it.

 

If I was going to buy another 11th generation F-150 (I currently have a 2006 with around 90,000 miles) I would try and stay away from anything built before late 2007....if that's the style your looking for I would try and find a decent used 2008 F-150, they have the most updated parts for the 11th gens.
