Default Help

2008 F150 Brake line from abs module to driver front caliper rubber line…… Where the hell can I find this line or just the damn fitting 10x1.5 in the abs block and standard 3/16x24 on the other end. This is frustrating me lol

Welcome to the forum. When I lived in NJ I had the front brake lines on my 00 Ranger rust out from road salt, I goy one off a truck in the JY & I made another one from nicopp line & reused the fitting that connected to the ABS motor. I just put the fitting on the line before making the flare. I am even using this type of line for the fuel lines on my 69 Mustang.

I have a similar problem. If possible I’d like to find the OEM replacement or the aftermarket, I know doorman makes the line as I have seen it in an expensive 4line kit but I can’t get the solitary line since I don’t know the OEM part number. I’d like to do this if I can and avoid making/flaring a line myself as it never seems to work well for me and I’d prefer not to screw up anything worse. But I guess I can keep this as a try at a last resort

Ford parts used to give us a 25 foot box of brake line and say to have a nut
Fittings, far and few between but they could order them all in packs of 200 (so they wouldn't)
Been fabricating lines for long enough that I would not buy a formed line unless real cheap
Trick is to use the best line you can find (like old American made stuff)
They have fancy double flare tools these days that make it even easier
