My truck is a 04 with 200000 miles on it, last week I changed oil to mobile 1 full synthetic 5w-20 and put on a new filter at the same time I cleaned the throttle body and MAF bolth with CRC cleaner and the truck ran and sounded way better, now on this tank of gas I I went from 300 miles a tank to 250 whats up with that I thought cleaning would help fuel economy?

 

I'd venture to guess that if you admit that it sounds better you've been romping on the gas pedal a bit more. I know with my exhaust and the way the truck sounds I get terrible mileage because I drive like I stole it. I'd give it another tank or two until you get back to normal driving habits and I'm sure you'll see it bounce back.
