Hello to everyone. Just picked up an '04 FX4 CC today. It's a little on the beat up side but it's a truck and it's a Ford so it should last forever.
I wish I found out about this forum though, been reading through the cam phaser stickys and it kind of got me scared. Hope I don't run into this, and if I do I gotta find out the best way to fix it permanently.
For now all I plan on doing is installing a headache rack so I can transport tools and stuff without busting the back of the cab. Looks like the previous owner did some minor upgrades too. I'll post pics later on.
Oh, and by the way, I also drive a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 CC. It has the 5.7 Hemi and the 545RFE 5-speed tranny which makes it a beast compared to my overweight F-150. But the F-150 is like a luxury car compared to the redneck Ram. I skipped the Chevy since GM has been building ugly trucks since '99.
