Default heater problems

Hello all,
I'm having a problem with my 2008 F150 that I'm hoping someone can help me with. lately I'm finding that my heater controls aren't functioning properly. Regardless of where I place the selector I'm getting little or no heat out of the floor vents and with the temp control most times there is little temp control, either I'm cooking or I'm freezing. I can also hear a steady mild clicking noise in the dash when I have the fan running. Any help or suggestions you may have would be greatly appreciated.

I think the clicking is the gear trying to engage. You tube has a bunch of vids on it as other poster said. It doesn't have to be a vid for your vehicle, they all basically run the same

Besides the blend door, if it’s not blowing on the floor setting no mater what, you also need to do the mode door fix. It’s eother the actuator, or more likely the foam prices that fall off the actual doors in the hvac system, get stuck and the doors can no longer function.
