Default Heated Seats

I gave my 2005 Ford F150 Crew Cab to my son. He wants to make the driver and passenger seats heated. I was see if anybody has done this and how difficult it would be? What brand of heaters would recommend? Thanks for the help.

Some companies make a heated seat cover that you just plug into the cigarette lighter. That might be easier than installing an OEM heater in the seat.

I bought a seat heater that needs to be installed under the seat cover
Instead of taking the stock covers off -time consuming - I am going to order Clazzio covers

Heaters:

Clazzio thread: I really want the red center, but think it may be too much -my truck is red

Hey man. I literally just put my seat heaters in last week! Turned out fantastic and install was easy! Take the seats completely out of the truck and unbolt the lower cushion from the seat frame. From there all I did was unsnap the retaining clips on all four side and roll the cover up to the hot rings then slide the pad inside and then peel off the double sided tape and bam! It was done. Same process for the back portion of the seat. Took me maybe 4 hours and I now have toasty warm buns.

Hey thanks for the update. We also are getting them from eBay. I was wondering where did you get the power from in the dash? Thanks for your help.
