Default Heated Leather Seats?

Hey All,
I have a 2007 F150 Lariat loaded except for heated seats. Is there a way I can address this want? Seems to me I would have to find another seat and install the heated seat switch. The switch I'm not to worried about, but the seat itself might be hard to come by. The winter in Upstate NY has been really harsh this year. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

dan

search ebay and put a kit in your current seats.
There's a couple write ups on here. use the search function. Its pretty easy to do. I am ordering a set this weekend.

.

Poor thing , with such a harsh winter , you must be freezing your little tushy off, try these.... lol Just kidding man. Mine are aftermarket leather seats with heat but not sure who installed them. I dont think i would ever pay for it because i turn them on for about 10 minutes max because it gets way to warm for me. It is nice since dress pant arent very insulated. Good luck!

Any thoughts on installing these under a set of leather seat covers? I'm looking at these...

And thought about if it was possible to put heaters on the origional seat then put the leather cover over it? Possible?

Yes possible. You got the $$$ you can do anything. I would caution though that when or if you take the seat covers off that the time you were sitting with the heated kit on top of the leather that it would a) scratch or wear the leather or b) if you used the sticky side it might not come off with out some serious problems/ residue or staining.
The effort to put on the seat covers is just as much if not more than just installing the heater kit.
