So i was driving today in the rain and hit a puddle of water on the road well water goes every where but everything was cool.... well i get home and put the HL switch to off and my headlights stayed on everything else is off except my heads!.. Also if turn the switch on and have my hi beams on and switch it back to off itll automatically go to lo beams

Any idea what this could be? Its a 07 F150

 

Forgot to say this is just with the ignition on.

 

So i unplugged the HL switch and the lights still stay on? Any help?

 

Do the lights turn off if you lock the truck?

 

I took the headlights off and found my wires all chewed up which was causing a shortage which i guess was bypassing the switch
