headlights go bright then dim

^^ I second the notion of a failing alternator. Worn out brushes will also cause intermittent charging.

I'll keep fuses in mind. The remote start was been there before I got the truck. I thought maybe issue was a drop from battery to main distribution but have not checked yet.
This battery symbol was why I changed the altanator in the first place.

I don't think it's fuses. I think it may be an issue with an aftermarket remote start and parasitic draw. Removing the fuses to the unit will eliminate that as a culprit.

Agree with Bucko.. sounds like the voltage regulator or bad Ballistic on the LED's.. but, the dash lights dimming is key here.

Well the battery symbol came on again an I had my multi meter in the truck. Yep regulator. Altanator is dead. Has warranty for 2 years so they just gave me a new one. Said I could have had power surge. So after I installed it I disconnected the help and LED from the head lights. I'll drive in for a little whilethen try them again.

No power surge.. our trucks are very picky when it come to Alta's and regulators.

OK GUYS.LOL drove it this morning and noticed that the lights on the dash(led screen that shows direction and milage) would go brighter and dim as i pushed the gas again(not every stop but most). BUT NOT AS BAD. still something is out of wack. My halo and LEds are still not hookup. The business that rebuilds them said it's the first one to come back in years(only lasted 4 months) they give 2 year warranty. I used them many times on other vehicles. Very good people they said make sure there is no back power or surges. dos anyone elss have there dash or fan do this?
o by the way
I did a ohm test on the 2 wires coming from the PCM to the alternator and they were
.05 and .05 ohms. Looks good and both wires from connector at alternator to ground OL so they are not grounding out.
Has to be someone out there that has seen this before.
thanks guys

I'm telling you.. it's the voltage reg in the alt.. I understand they can re-build your alt, but our trucks are very picky on the regulators.
