^ I bought these... and painted my stock housings with paint i had around the house white with black corner and sold them for $250

Put em in the oven one at a time at 220degrees. Pull em out every 8 mins and pry em apart. Work one corner at a time. Keep doing this until they pop open. There's 2 torx screws inside that hold it together. Take em off and paint the chrome with Krylon black (made for plastics). After your done painting, use black or clear silicone to reseal em. I used a tube per headlight.

They've been on now for about 3 months and never had any issues and I've seen negative temps since then.
