Headlight probs.
Ok I bought some Harley Davison headlights for my 2008 f150. Installed them no prob. Turned the lights on and the driver side main light is not working. Thought the bulb (H13) was bad. Bought a new one... same thing not working. Every other light works both sides.
Is there a seperate fuse for L & R head lamps?
Also where is the fuse box?
I did check the connector to the bulb and it looks fine.
The bulb looks fine also... fillements are all intact and not burnt
Anybody ever had this problem?
Thanks

You need to get a test light.
Test the connector for power, if it has power, there is something wrong with the headlight assembly or the bulb itself. if it does not have power, trace the wires back to another junction and test there...keep testing until you find power, at that point you should figure out where the power is stopping. Fix it, and you should be good to go.
It's somewhere between the battery and the headlight...i can tell you that for sure.
Good luck!

Check your owners manual for fuse location and assignments....lower right passenger side kick panel.
Before you say you don't have one, go here and down load a free copy:

I suspect you broke off a wire when you twisted the headlight socket off of the old headlight buckets and re-installed onto the new ones. The headlight assemblies DO NOT PROVIDE A GROUND; the bulb socket and headlight assemplies are plastic....each bulb socket that twists into the headlight assemblies have their own power and ground lead. One of these I suspect is faulty. Try gently wiggling the wires by the point where they connect to the bulb socket while the light switch is on.

Fixed it kinda... Ford uses fuses for L&R head lights Who woulda thought.
Now I have now brights.. It uses a relay for the high beams so im going to replace it.
But I jacked my back up and need to take it easy for a while.
Thanks for the input guys!!
