headers or exhaust manifold?

Default headers or exhaust manifold?

both my exhaust manifold are leaking at current time its either put new manifolds on or do headers what is everyone thought and what brand????

If you can go headers do it, but you will have added expense on converting your exhaust too. Thats what i would do anyway

There's gonna be piping fabrication if you go with anything other then factory... Going with long tubes is gonna definitely be worth the hassle. I wouldn't bother pulling the OEM's for short tubes, there is just no good incentives to do so..

IMO, headers arent worth the hassle unless youve done internal upgrades to the engine. manifolds breathe plenty for stock engine. maybe gain a few ponies but just not worth it. granted, ive never had em on a ford, but always had issues with leaks, blowing gaskets, fittment issues, having to constantly check that the bolts are tight. and with the limited room in the engine bay would just be a hassle. id just stick with manifolds.

Muffler shop told me doing short tubes isnt that hard. Though not really any hp gains they will outlast the factory manifold and imo its worth the extra couple hundred
