I don't know by experience on these trucks but with my past lt1 Camaro I made the mistake of putting shortys on. No power increase and a lot of work!

Long tube pacesetters would be what I would use if I were in that situation

Shorties bolt up, no power gains. Long tubes on 5.4 is almost 30whp with tune. You will need to do header back exhaust work.

Agreed, but IMO its worth the after header work after the bs of the manifold replacement has been done.

The labor is a PITA. I did long tube headers over the course of 2 weeks on my 4x4. Would I do it again? IDK...the passenger side pacesetter did not fit in quite as well....I had to smooth out th edge of the bell housing, jack up the motor, remove trans dip stick, and ended up sdaying eff it and literally beat it into the spot. Bolting up was also fun as well....I would rather do another blower install hands down then another set of headers

If you want performance, let some other sucker buy them.
