I have an 04 4.6l when cold it runs great , once it warms up a little when I accelerate it falls on its face I have to let on and off the pedal to smooth it out I had a code p0308 I put a new coil on and it still runs the same this is driving me crazy I recently checked the codes and have a p0300 random multiple , I unplugged the egr harness and drove it with no change whatsoever, any help or ideas would be appreciated thanks

 

Don’t throw parts at it yet. Take 8 coil and plug out. Swap plug (from 8) with plug from 7 and swap coil (from 8) with six. Clear codes and drive. If codes jump to 6 or 7 you know the problem. If it doesn’t jump, then swap injector 8 with 7, clear codes and test again.

When was was last time you changed plugs, and cleaned maf and throttle body ?
