Replacing factory lighting with projector/LED lights and was just gonna ask if theres much difference between brands..only brand in particular I've looked at was Recon, other then that I've just been eBaying and the price difference is pretty substantial. Recon worth the money or no? Or any other recommendations? I'm going with the smoked lenses as well..which I've had trouble finding for the projector headlights on eBay, but Recon offers them..tail lights are obviously no problem to find. Suggestions?

ebay headlights suck. most people will tell you to stay away from them.

but the only companies that i know that make headlights w/Leds that are probably worth it are

recon

and

Anzo (have not seen them in person or dont know if they are better than Recon), but sure are pricey.

 

i have the e bay projectors on my jetta and blacked out tail lights for 3 years now and no problem i plan on getting a set for my ford from there

 

Projectors belong in the Projects IMO

 

Recon is just over priced eBay products.
But imo the headlights are ugly and the tails are do-able but just the red ones. I dint like the clear lens ones

 

haha yea not to be racist or anything, but since i live in california, every time i see the clear ones tailights or projector/led headlights it reminds me of . . . or someone who just cleared out an auto zone isle and added "100000hp" to their car with stick ons. Just my opinion. did not mean to offend anyone.
