Default Head swap

If I was going to swap my 04 heads with the corrected 07+ heads is the physical head all I need to swap???

What engine? If you're talking about the 5.4, it's not the head that's the problem.

Yes the 5.4 3v....the head is where the spark plugs go in at...and from what I understand late 2007 they changed the design if the head so that the spark plugs didn't size to then any more

Why would you waste the money on swapping heads because of spark plugs. Get a lisle tool and change the plugs, it's not that hard.

Yeah I know where the spark plugs go. And you understand wrong. They changed the design of the spark plug. And another thing, 2007 has nothing to do with it. There are lots of 2008 trucks with the same 2 piece spark plugs. So to answer your question: changing the heads won't do a thing.
