I have a 2004 F150 with the 3 valve 5.4L. I replaced the two cam phasers last summer due to engine issues. I then had to replace two coil packs and plugs. This weekend I was driving home from about 150 mile trip and while driving about 2000 rpms the engine would cut out. When I got into town and had to stop at a stop sign the engine completely died. I tried to start it, it was slow to crank but started up but was cutting out. I tried to rev the engine but 3000 rpms was as high as it would go before cutting out again and dying.

I had it towed to a shop, they checked codes replaced a plug and coil pack(which I thought was reasonable since I had issues with others). Replaced the cam sensors, and still had no results. Changed fuel filter and said injectors and fuel pump were good. Any suggestions, or thoughts. Mechanic said he thinks it jumped time and I need to replace the engine, a Jasper engine with labor $6200, not the route i'm taking I can assure you. . Open to suggestions.
