Default Happy with Factory Navigation???

Wondering if those of you with the factory nav unit are impressed with it? Is it up to date on things such as hospitals and gas stations? Is it worth $1000 to upgrade my non-nav Lariat???

I love mine, as far as updates even your updates are out of date as far as gas stations and resturants that stuff changes on a daily bases. with roads its great that stuff doesn't change as frequently the look the functios are great better then a window mounted unit..

Just get a pioneer, kenwood, clarion etc touch screen nav/stereo that you like. Most look very stock and you can find em fairly cheap (got mine for 500 installed)

See this thread. https://www.f150forum.com/f30/dd-touch-screen-40122

There are a few of us shopping right now. I will be honest and say that I have zero experience with factory nav. Most of whta I have heard though is that the aftermarket is way better (and cheaper). The Nav in my last car when I bought it was a $1800 option!

There are lots of sub $1000 units that would work for you WAY better than any factory unit could.
