I too like the look of a black vehicle, especially when its freshly washed and polished. Owned 3 that were black.

Then I'd back it out of the garage for a nice drive...that look disappeared quickly
I'm now too old and lazy to keep up the looks of a black vehicle.

Yep I am getting there as well. Last two cars were black, before kids, when I had some free time. Now the mini van is black and I wish it were a dark grey or something else. At least my truck is white...

I just ran over the van a few weeks ago with my porter PC to get the light scratches out. Yes they will be on all vehicles, they just show up on black like no other...

Van after 45K miles and 3.5 years. Daily driver and now sits outside. Last pic will show why I hand wash once a week usually and treat with Zanio twice a year. Best stuff I found that lasts for at least that long and the shine is awesome!

Maxima when I sold it had 60k miles

The reason my wifes van sits outside now... Original paint! 38k mile car. 1950 Chrysler windsor

Sorry back on track for your thread didn't mean to hijack it.

Just wanted to make the point if you want to keep that sweet looking black truck, sweet looking and black it will take some work. Go over to autogeek and poke around. That site has taught me a lot on how to wash a car properly to keep it from getting swirls, as well as some good techniques and products to correct the finish when the swirls inevitably come.
