Default Okay here is the deal

The problem is the AC switch on the dash not shooting power to the low pressure switch.

Did you fix it? Mine is doing the exact same thing. Went to a junk yard, replaced the switch inside the cockpit and nothing

Nope posted earlier. looks like post did not make it. Still no power to low pressure switch. If I knew how to jump Compressor I would do that just to check. But know one here knows how to do that. I dont want to put power from battery to the wrong place.

i remember just unplugging the low presure switch.. it should be a 2 prong connector.. just connect a wire from one prong to the other on the plug end.. this will tell the compressor the system is properly charged a d allow it to kick on if the compressor is functional. the only thing im not sure of is if it was the hi or low side that was jumped out...

Thats great except as I said there is no power to the switch so jumping that won't work without power. Some one mentioned jumping off battery but I would like an explanation of that. LOL/

My mechanic bypassed the relay in the engine bay to make sure compressor was working with a paper clip and it worked

Yea that would be great Ill try that. But quick disconnect blew off the evap from the dryer. It had locks on it but I broke them when I took it off. 116 degree heat just sitting and it blew. Not going to add anything else until I find locks. Vaced it down after putting quick disconnect on and it held.

Had a friend who is a mechanic come over he did the jump thing and I had power. Problem is the compressor which is a reman. So I just went down to O'riely's and bought a new one. It's still over 100 here so I will be doing good this early in the am before it gets hotter then he'll. Hopefully I can get a return from amazon on this. I doubt it. It was real cheap. Suppose to be a four seasons rebuilt which I have had good luck with but it was not marked anywhere. I think it was one of those wash and seal jobs.live and learn. Hopefully that will be it
.puthe four ounces in compress of pag46 had 4 ounces in system already. I ll check old compress when I take it out to see how much was still in compressor before I reinstall.
