Default Gryphon towing question

I would like to hear opinions from those that have a tuner on an otherwise stock truck.

What improvements do you see in the towing. I have an 06 5.4 screw that is all stock but I tow a camper with it and I am considering to the tuner to help with the towing where the tranny is a little lacking.

Just wondering how it compares to stock. Is it worth the $400 on a stock truck?

I have a Gryphon in mine.

All I have done is Gotts mod, flowmaster exhaust, 4.56 gears.

i have 87 performance, 91 performance and 87 tow tune. I cant really tell a difference between 87 perf, and 87 tow except that the shift points/firmness are different

i also havent towed anything with the truck since its been on, but setting it back to stock results in a noticable loss in power.

besides my edge tuner my truck is bone stock. i tow regularly with mine and ive noticed much better shifting and better acceleration while towing as well as lower trans temps because of the firmer shifts. the towing tune on the edge raises the shift points a bit to keep the truck in the power a little bit longer before it shifts. overall im pleased with my edge in both everyday driving as well as towing so im sure a custom tuned gryphon will be even better.
