has anyone used the kit that changes the rear leaf spring and if so how does it ride compared to the stock setup?

I have a flip kit on the back of mine. It puts the leave springs under the axle. Drops the truck 5 inches in the back. As long as you get the shocks it rides good still. If you hit a bump hard it will bottom out but doesnt happen often.

did you install the flip kit yourself? If so how long did it take and was it a lot of work?

Yes i installed it myself. If you have a lift it is not so hard. It took me about 3 hours to but the flip kit on the back and the coils in the front. The hardest part is the front bolt for your leaf springs. You have to move the gas tank to get the bolt out. With a lift and 2 people its not to bad.
