Default Grinding noise!!!

I went on a vacation to Colorado last week while I was up there, there was a grinding noise on the front passenger side of the my truck, found out that it was the bearings, after finding that out I found that to replace those beaings you need to buy the rotor hub assembly. So long story short my problem was fixed. But today I woke up and drove down the street The noise came back. Sounds a lot like a metal on metal grind. I can't figure it out. I have a 04 F150 2x4 at 65000 miles. any suggestion would help thank you.

Your IWE soleniod is bad. Search the forum you wil find many posts about the same thing. Easy fix its plub and play...the part is about 30-40 bucks and they are located on your firewall on the passenger side. Vacum's control your 4wd and your loosing the vacum that engages it. good luck...Hope your old hubs were actually bad before you replaced them.

Not sure to the answer but I can almost guarantee it is not the IWE solenoid.. It is a 2wd (he says 2x4 in his post, think he meant 4x2)

Could have been a bad replacement assembly.

Thanks for the replies guys, and ya I meant 4x2 sorry. I jacked it up and spun the tires with no noise, only makes the noise when there is weight on it. If it is the assembly is there an easy fix for that?
